Open Ear and Over The Ear Are What You Get With 1MORE

What You Want To Hear By Listening

There are a lot of headphones on the market today and, to be fair, most are pretty good. Sure cost affects performance since that can affect the size of the drivers (speakers) as well as the fit over, around or in the ear, but it’s rare to find a lousy pair from a reputable company. So yes it’s about the company that provides the “oomph” as to whose headphone to go for. You want a company that has a reputation for quality and stability as to the audio being presented. You also want a company that doesn’t rest on its laurels and just give you “good enough” but instead strives to improve on the headphones that they put out. That almost sounds like something out of a commercial or press release, but it happens to be true when it comes to 1MORE and their Fit Open Earbuds S70 and the SonoFlow Pro.

Fit Open Earbuds S70

The first thing you’ll notice about the S70 is its distinct shape, not like the usual mushroom head with a stick coming out — instead it’s an open design that hugs around the ear as opposed to sticking in the ear (“stick it in your ear” being a negative to hear when some were kids back in the day). Besides eliminating ear wax cleaning, it results in a simpler hugging method that allows for longer wear at the head with less headache inducing results. Of course YMMV but you wouldn’t stick a Q-tip in your ear so why do so with earbuds? Plus at under 9 ounces, there’s not a lot for gravity to pull on. And unlike a lot of other ‘buds, there’s 4 A.I. ENC microphones working to make your voice easily heard while reducing surface noise.

Small But Mighty

Being that the S70 is far from huge, it makes good sense to have 10mm drivers doing the work. 1MORE’s experience with drivers doesn’t come based on the size of the driver, it’s based on the tech and listening dope that engineers are privy to. End result is that there’s good mid and treble and the bass, enhanced by the dual magnetic drivers and DiamondFlex diaphragms, is plenty good. Now as to the Bluetooth being used, it’s 5.3 so it’s recent and that means up to 10 meters/33 feet which should be more than enough for running to the bathroom while listening and leaving the phone on the table with the potato chips. Besides multipoint connectivity between 2 devices, 5.3 also means a stable signal, which is important regardless of the codecs being used to turn the digital in to analog signals. Speaking of which, you’re getting HFP, A2DP and AVRCP so you’re good to go.

Of course there’s a charging case that both secures (magnetically) the two piece earbuds as well as charging them. The charged case will charge up the earbuds (which provide mostly close to 40 hours playtime adding in 12 from the ‘buds themselves) and also looks different than other cases. That’s thanks to a top window that lets you look into the case to make sure you did actually put the ‘buds inside — short term memory and all). Both case and ‘buds will charge in about an hour and a half, and a quick charge of under 10 minutes will give you about 2 hours of playtime (definitely over 70 minutes without question). The ‘buds, btw, are sweat resistant.

SonoFlow Pro

There’s a number of advantages to using over-the-ear headphones rather than earbuds, the most obvious being that you have larger ear cups that should stand the test of comfort. But more important than that is that the size of the drivers (speakers) will be larger — in the case of the SonoFlow Pro, they’re 40mm in size and have a frequency response of up to 40 kHz — giving you sound that isn’t being clipped. That also plays into the LDAC tech which, when using Bluetooth, pumps up the signal data 3 times what is normally presented. Another advantage is that the battery will be larger and so able to play for a greater amount of time — in this case up to 100 hours of playtime with up to 65 hours with the ANC on (mitigating surface noise (mightily). So obviously charging isn’t going to be a needed issue left and right (besides 5 minutes of charging provides about 10 hours which should get you though any last minute issues). Plus add to all that that you can use the SonoFlow Pro wired up which kills the need of battery power and guarantees higher audio presentation.

The SonoFlow Pro is precision tuned just as the Fit Open Earbuds S70 is, should allow for long listening sessions due to the materials used. And oh yes the mic and A.I. noise reduction built in means what you say will get heard when a call comes in or your voice is going out. The SonoFlow Pro gives you what you need to listen to and what you need to listen with.
